HS8-T Super Spinet with MDR-3 and Software package
- The HS8-T Electone Organ features two of Yamaha's unique
tone-generating processes: FM (frequency Modulation) for musical instrument
voices, and AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) for
percussion instrument sounds. AWM is Yamaha's break-through process
that uses actual digital recordings, or high-resolution "samples,"
of real musical instruments to create lifelike sound. AWM instruments sound
so real because they are real. FM tone generation is an advanced
digital process that precisely matches the exact shapes of a instrument's
sound wave and then controls the complex harmonics as they change through
the decay period. Since FM voices have the same physical sound
characteristics as the instruments they represent, they sound amazingly
real. Not only that, they let you edit them to create your own instrument sounds.
